This cozy little town, set in B.C., has a little bit of everything. Charming cobblestone streets are lined with local businesses and restaurants, rolling farmland stretches into mountains surrounding the town, and it's all just an hour away from the bustling city of Vancouver.

It's the kind of spot where work-life balance just feels easier, with evening and weekend adventures at your fingertips and nature all around. Recently, it was even named among Canada's best spots for a high quality of life, on a Narcity poll.

Chilliwack is just over an hour's drive from Vancouver, but it feels like another world with its slower pace and abundant nature.

Exploring downtown, you'll feel like you've escaped into a mini European town. District 1881 is a shopping district with pedestrian-only streets and picturesque storefronts, offering a charming atmosphere.

Stop by The Offy here for a good meal, and wander in and out of the cute boutiques and little shops.

While it's all small-town vibes, Chilliwhack is technically a city, so it has lots going on. There are often festivals and shows around here to check out, depending on when you visit.

All around town you'll also see beautiful public art murals, making a stroll that much more picturesque.

Like most spots in B.C., exploring the surrounding nature is a key part of any trip. Beautiful farmland is surrounding the town, making it easy to hop around and see local spots. If you want some relaxation, head to Soul Wellness at Ryder Lake Farms for some yoga and beautiful fields of purple lavender.

About 15 minutes from the city is Lakeland Flowers, another spot to wander through beautiful blooms.

Farms here also have everything from berry picking to corn mazes — making a visit fun even as the fall weather hits.

If you want to delve further into nature, head to Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park, where you'll find peaceful trails and stunning views.

There are endless breathtaking spots tucked away in nature here that you can adventure to, from hidden waterfalls to scenic lookouts.

From a vibrant downtown to the tranquil surroundings — this spot has a little bit of everything.
