This waterfront restaurant in Vancouver was named among the best spots to eat in the city

Foodies, listen up! 🍽️

Editor

This city's restaurant scene is ever-evolving, but some tried-and-true spots stand out among the best restaurants in Vancouver. They're the spots you go to knowing you're going to leave satisfied. The ones you recommend time and time again, and never get old.

We turned to Narcity readers to find out what those local go-tos are – and they delivered. Some restaurants stood out in the city, and Miku was one of them. It's a staple spot in Vancouver, with incredible Japanese food that has people going back.

The restaurant serves up delicious Aburi sushi — meaning it's flame-seared to perfection.

According to the Miku website, they're the "pioneers of ABURI sushi in Canada," and this is evident in their dishes.

Take your pick off the menu, because you can't really go wrong. The platters give you an array of options to taste though, so make a good option.

If you go mid-day you can enjoy the lunch menu here, which features Shokai, "a carefully curated selection of dishes, including 10 pieces of traditional and Aburi Oshi sushi, rolls and nigiri."

At dinner you can indulge in a multi-course menu, which serves up the "signature Aburi-style cuisine, using Japanese and local ingredients."

While, of course, the food is the stand-out here, the atmosphere is also impressive.

The location has stunning views, a waterfront patio, and a full-service sushi bar.

This spot is Michelin Guide recommended, so not exactly a hidden gem, but it's definitely a crowd-pleaser for a reason.
