Canadian fans of The Last of Us are probably loving this season, since yet again the popular HBO show is putting our landscapes on display. While the show is set in the U.S., it's filmed in Canada and local Vancouverites are likely recognizing some of the backdrops.

Episode 6 of Season 2 just dropped on Sunday, and it was a biggie. There's only one more episode left in the season, so enjoy it while it lasts!

Here the main filming locations from Episode 6 of The Last Of Us, according to Destination Vancouver.

Mount Seymour

The flashback scenes when Ellie is climbing up a dinosaur in the woods on her 16th birthday was shot just outside of Vancouver. The woods for that part of the episode was actually the forest on Mount Seymour, which is just 45-minutes away from downtown Vancouver.

It's a beautiful place to go and explore on one of the many hiking trails there, if you want to feel like you're stepping onto the set.

Britannia Beach, Squamish

The Jackson settlement in the series is actually a set built in Squamish. Yet again this is just outside of Vancouver, about an hour's drive away.

The backdrop of the scenic area was perfect for the show, even though the town itself was constructed.
