Your summer 2020 plans might look a bit different this year, but thankfully you can still fill up on delicious vegan eats. Vancouver is getting a brand new vegan farmers market and it's a plant-based paradise. The best part is that you can drop by the party all summer long.

The Vegan Farmers Market will take over the beachy Concord Pacific Park by Science World. Last year, the same organizers had the Vancouver Vegan Festival for one day only.

This summer, you're going to get eight Saturdays full of your favourite vegan eats, treats, and fun.

Organizer Savannah told Narcity that for these events, they really wanted to make sure they could "comply with BC health regulations while supporting small businesses and keeping the vegan scene in Vancouver alive."

Their new market will be full of local farm-fresh eats, food trucks, artisans and vegan food makers. It's "all plant-based everything," said Savannah.

Their popular Vegan Night Markets at the Waldorf have been postponed due to COVID-19. But this outdoor market concept will be a way for you to still connect with your favourite brands and makers safely.

After all, this is the summer of few faces and big spaces according to Dr. Bonnie Henry, so why not get outside more often this summer?

There is no official vendor list yet because applications are still open. At previous vegan events, there's been more tasty food than you could possibly eat like juicy BBQ and decadent desserts.

So far, we know that Rolling Cashew, with their next-level cauliflower wings, will be at the market all season long.

Whether you live a cruelty-free lifestyle already, you're veg-curious, or you want to treat your vegan friend to a day out, this will be the best place in the city to find yourself this summer.
