Locomotive Attendant

Salary: $36.27 an hour

Who Should Apply: VIA Rail is looking for a Locomotive Attendant to be responsible for locomotive movement in and around the Vancouver Maintenance Center. You should have a high school diploma to apply to this role.

Passenger car cleaner (General Worker)

Salary: $32.39 an hour

Who Should Apply: Three General Worker positions at VIA Rail need to be filled. They're looking for people to be responsible for cleaning passenger railway cars and be available to work any shift. You should have a high school diploma to apply.

Railway car technician

Salary: $35.22 to $42.49 an hour

Who Should Apply: This role will be in charge of making sure passenger cars "operate at peak capacity year-round," according to the job posting. This will include doing maintenance and repairs on them. The job positing said that while "Red seal certified tradespersons are ideal" for this role, they "welcome apprentices to apply."
