If you thought this warm(ish) weather was an indication of the rest of November, you've got another thing coming. An Alberta snowstorm is on the horizons and it sounds like things are about to get hectic.

On Friday, November 6, Environment Canada issued several winter storm warnings, mostly in Southern Alberta.

The storm is predicted to start on Friday night and keep rolling into Sunday, finally tapering off on Sunday evening.

There is also mention of "blizzard-like conditions" on account of widespread winds.

As a result, travel advisories have been added to warn Albertans to avoid travelling if they are able.

"Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations," it warns.

People are even being told to make emergency plans and kits if they're going to hit the highway.

It's going to be cold, it's going to be ugly, it's going to be a Netflix weekend for Albertans.
