You'll Feel Like You Fell Down The Rabbit Hole At This Magical Georgia Garden

A little adventure in wonderland never hurt anyone🌷🐇
Contributor

While summer might not last forever, there are still some places throughout Georgia that'll make you feel like it'll never end. Gibbs Gardens is one of those places that'll always have that summery feel to it, as well as whisk you away to another realm while you're there. Take a trip down the rabbit hole for a few hours, the garden's fine.

Gibbs Gardens is situated in Ball Ground, Georgia, sitting on a total of 292-acres. The official website states that it's one of the nation's largest residential estate gardens.

Jim Gibbs, the creator and owner, designed this place from top to bottom. There are 24 ponds, 32 bridge crossings, and 19 waterfalls throughout the property. You'll have plenty to see while you're exploring here.

As soon as you step in, you'll ask yourself if you're even still in Georgia anymore.

Each season, you can expect to see a new sea of flowers and plants in bloom. Right now, you'll see a slew of waterlilies, roses, annuals, and perennials.

There are 16 different floral zones and gardens located inside this destination. Some of these include the sculpture garden, daffodils, the roses, daylilies, and crape myrtles, as well as rhododendron and hydrangea gardens.

There are also three main feature gardens that are the stars of the show: the Manor House, Japanese, and Waterlily Gardens.

Before your departure from this Georgia Wonderland, make sure you explore the Manor House. It looks like something straight out of Europe with all the Eniglish manor vibes.

If you look closely, you'll even be able to see the North Georgia mountains in the distance for an even more enchanting view.

You have an excuse to visit multiple times a year because you'll see something new with each season

Grab some girlfriends or your S.O. and make it an experience down the rabbit hole to remember.
