Ontario has so many beautiful provincial parks to explore. Whether you're looking for rugged wilderness hikes or sandy beaches, these stunning parks have everything you need for a dreamy escape into nature.

In a recent post on Narcity Canada's Facebook page, we asked readers to share their pick for the best provincial park in Ontario. This dreamy destination with a silky sand beach was one of the recommended spots.

Pinery Provincial Park is a summertime gem perched along the shores of Lake Huron in Grand Bend.

It's about a 3-hour drive from Toronto and offers picturesque trails, shining waters, cycling trails and more.

During the warmer months, the park becomes a beach paradise with 10 kilometres of silky sand shores. You can lounge on the powdery beach and swim in the sparkling waves for a dreamy, sun-filled outing.

You'll want to stay late, as the park is known for its breathtaking sunsets that transform the sky with vibrant hues.

In addition to its beautiful beach, the Pinery is home to some scenic trails you can explore. From rare Oak Savanna to Coastal Dune Ecosystems, you'll be treated to all sorts of gorgeous views.

Other activities at the park include paddling the Old Ausable Channel, camping, and cross-country skiing during the winter.

You can also spend some time in Grand Bend, "one of Canada's best beach towns." The area boasts shops, waterfront patios and more.

With rolling dunes, a large sandy beach, and stunning trails, this locally loved park is worth a road trip.
