The Best-Selling Made-In-Canada Cars For 2020 Were Just Revealed

It's an SUV takeover! The best-selling Canadian-made cars for 2020 were just revealed and the bigger vehicles are leading the pack. 

Driving.ca looked at a list of cars that are manufactured in Canada to figure out which ones are the most popular with buyers.

The top seller, with 57,972 of them bought in 2020, was the Toyota Rav4 which is built in two different plants in Ontario. 

This isn't the only SUV/crossover on the list. In second place was the Honda CRV, then the Ford Edge in fifth, followed by the Chevrolet Equinox in sixth, the Lexus RX in seventh, and finally the Lincoln Nautilus in ninth. 

According to the report, Canada produced 1.44 million vehicles last year and 15% of them were bought by drivers here at home.
