Little Lougheed 

Length: 5.1 kilometres 

Address: Kananaskis Improvement, AB

Why You Need To Go: This stunning out-and-back trail offers some absolutely jaw-dropping views of peaks, valleys and electric-blue water. Rated as difficult, there is some scrambling to be done, but at least it won't take you all day. 

Boom Lake

Length: 11.3 kilometres 

Address: Near Lake Louise, AB

Why You Need To Go: Truly one of the most peaceful places ever, you can access this stunning lake via a nice, flat hike. This one is good for all skill levels and even dogs are allowed. 

Galatea Lakes

Length: 16.9 kilometres 

Address: Kananaskis Improvement, AB

Why You Need To Go: This out-and-back trail is rated as moderate and it leads to some of the most beautiful lakes you've ever seen. The trail will reopen in late June and it needs to be on your bucket list. 

Troll Falls 

Length: 3.4 kilometres 

Address: Near Municipal District of Bighorn No. 8, AB

Why You Need To Go: The dreamy little hike is quick and easy, so it's perfect for all levels. Featuring a beautiful waterfall and some serious fairytale energy, you're going to love it here. 

Ribbon Creek

Length: 5.6 kilometres 

Address: Kananaskis Improvement, AB

Why You Need To Go: This lively little loop is so serene, you'll really want to take your time. You'll find a babbling creek, tons of wildflowers and all the views you could imagine. 

Grassi Lakes

Length: 4.3 kilometres 

Address: Canmore, AB
