If you're getting the itch to travel then you might be in luck, because a list of some of the cheapest destinations for June was revealed – and a Calgary flight route made the cut.

Skyscanner released its monthly "Travel Hack Series," which is a roundup of "data-driven insights tailored for Canadian travellers."

With some helpful tips on booking and cheap trip suggestions, it's ideal for anyone looking for a last-minute getaway before summer is officially underway.

For any June travellers out there, Skyscanner says that "flying out on June 3rd or 10th instead of the 8th, 26th or 28th could help travellers save on airfare."

As for where to go, people in Calgary should look to Reykjavik, Iceland, apparently. Skyscanner named the Calgary, Alberta to Reykjavik, Iceland flight as one of the "cheapest destinations this June" with flights starting from $469 round trip.

If you've had Iceland on your bucket list (which, who doesn't?) now might be the perfect time to make the trip, if you're an Albertan looking for a good deal.

June is also when Iceland celebrates the longest days of the year, according to the tourism website, so you can experience what it's like to have sun all day long (literally).

Happy travels!
