The attraction is the "Canada's largest theme waterpark" and it's brimming with all sorts of aquatic fun.

From towering slides to a massive wave pool and more, you can spend your visit enjoying a range of activities at this spot.

The park is located just 20 minutes from Ottawa, making it a convenient spot for a summer day trip.

Calypso Theme Waterpark has reopened for the season and it offers endless fun.

The attraction is home to over 35 Slides, 100 water games and two theme rivers. You can race down the "the tallest waterslide tower in Canada," float along tropical-themed rivers and play some beach volleyball.

Calypso also has "Canada's Largest Wave Pool" which is complete with a sandy beach to relax on.

If you work up an appetite you can grab a bite to eat from one of the many venues onsite. The Hawaiian Beach Bar serves up delicious BBQ in a tropical environment, while Resto Kongo offers burgers, poutine and more. You can also find sweet treats like ice cream at the eateries.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online so you can avoid the crowds.

With all sorts of thrills and attractions, this waterpark is a fun spot for a summer getaway.
