Canada’s Quarantine Hotels Could Vary In Price & Travellers Must Book In Advance
Travellers arriving in the country will be required to book their place in one of Canada’s quarantine hotels, according to the federal government.
In a statement about the new travel restrictions, the Public Health Agency of Canada confirmed that hotel booking information would be available as early as this week.

Hotel booking information will be available online as of February 18, 2021.

Per Canada’s latest travel rules, anybody entering the country via plane is required to stay in a government-approved hotel for at least three days after landing.
While they wait for post-arrival COVID-19 test results, passengers will be able to choose from “a number of hotels” near their arrival airport in Canada.
The four airports that continue to accept international flights are Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport, Calgary International Airport, and Vancouver International Airport.
PHAC says that the cost of the stay may vary, depending on the hotel’s location.
"It is up to the traveller to choose where they wish to stay and book in advance of departure,” the federal agency added.
The total price, which is expected to be around $2,000, will be covered by the person travelling and will include costs associated with the room, food and cleaning and control measures, as well as security and transportation.
