A new study by The Body Shop has just revealed Canada's top 20 cities to enjoy nature and if you're a lover of the outdoors, you may want to update your bucket list.

The ranking was developed using a ton of different metrics, including the amount of parkland per 1,000 people, air quality, urban gardens and community farms, dog parks, walking trails, and more.

The city of Ottawa managed to snag the top spot thanks to the fact that it's bursting with community gardens and beautiful dog parks.

Next up was Toronto "with almost 500km in walking trails and an impressive 8096 hectares of parkland," wrote the Body Shop in an email to Narcity.

Sliding in at third place was Whitehorse, Yukon, which is known for its awe-inspiring mountain terrain and northern lights.
