Canada's Wonderland is hiring for thousands of jobs and there are some amazing perks

Looking for a summer job? Get your resume ready because Canada's Wonderland is hiring for thousands of positions, and there are some pretty great perks.

The massive Vaughan theme park is aiming to hire around 4,000 seasonal associates for the 2025 season ahead of its opening day on May 8.

The park will begin hiring for these positions this month as part of a major recruitment campaign by its parent company, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, across all its North American parks.

"Seasonal associates are the lifeblood of our business and play an instrumental role in consistently delivering amazing experiences to our park guests," Phil Liggett, general manager, said in a press release.

"We offer competitive wages and unbeatable perks that include opportunities for leadership development, paid internships, college scholarships, career advancement, and so much more. We look forward towelcoming new associates for what I'm sure will be a FUN and exciting 2025 season!"

Some of the available positions include:

  • Food & Beverage Associates
  • Ride Operators
  • Lifeguards
  • Security Associates
  • Sales Associates (Merchandise and Games)
  • Park Services Attendants
  • For candidates under 18, hourly pay starts at $16.20.

    For some positions, such as lifeguards, pay can exceed $20 an hour.

    The roles also come with some epic perks, including discounts on park food and merchandise, reward and recognition programs, special road trips for employees, free admission to any Six Flags park, and more.
