It's almost a new year, which means it's time to start thinking about those 2025 vacations. Just in time for the planning to commence, the top trending destinations for Canadians were revealed, alongside some of the best spots to go for a deal.

KAYAK, a travel search engine, analyzed data to uncover travel trends for the year ahead, and it's good news for adventurers out there. According to the report international airfare is down by 3% compared to 2024, so it might be a good time to finally make that trip abroad, especially since domestic airfare is expected to increase by 10%.

As for where to go, the report had some destination inspo that will have you booking your PTO in no time.

Here's a breakdown of where Canadians are headed in 2025 and the best deals to make note of.

Apparently, a sunny beach vacation is also in the books with Caribbean travel the cheapest it has been in three years. "Overall, expect to see airfares down 5% compared to 2024," the report said.
