There's even a list of free things to do in Charlotte that are exciting, informational and even one-of-a-kind you can't experience anywhere else. 

If you live in the surrounding states of Georgia, Tennessee or South Carolina, Charlotte is easily a quick day trip to travel to if you just want to get away for a few hours.
