Start packing your bags! If you've been craving a getaway to Europe then you're in luck. This low-cost airline is having a flash sale and flights from Toronto to Europe start at $109.

The sale is taking place this week for flights scheduled for the fall season. The destinations include some iconic European cities, such as London and Paris.

The flights have a stopover in Iceland, so you have the chance to explore its stunning landscapes and rugged beauty without the summer crowds.

Here's what to know about the sale and how to book tickets for a cheap getaway.

PLAY Airlines, a low-cost Icelandic airline that first launched in Canada in 2023, is having a Fall Flash Sale on flights to select European destinations this week.

Between July 2 and 8, Canadians can get some cheap travel deals from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, with flights to Iceland starting at $109 and flights to Europe via Iceland starting at $139.

The sale applies to flights on select dates from September 2 and December 15, 2024.

The destinations included in the sale are Reykjavík as well as Dublin, Berlin, Paris and London which include stopovers in Iceland.


The sale price represents the lowest PLAY basic fare per person, per one-way flight, when booking the round-trip routes specified in this offer. The deal applies to the Basic Bundle, which allows you to fly with one small personal item and also includes all mandatory taxes, fees, and carrier charges.

Additional baggage and other flight perks can be booked at an extra cost. The deals are first come - first serve, so you'll have to make some travel plans asap.
