Danish soccer player Christian Eriksen has posted on Instagram for the first time since collapsing on the field at the Euros, sharing a selfie from the hospital and revealing that he's doing better now.

"Big thanks for your sweet and amazing greetings and messages from all around the world. It means a lot to me and my family," he said in the post.

"I'm fine - under the circumstances. I still have to go through some examinations at the hospital, but I feel okay," Eriksen said.

He also mentioned that he'll now cheer on his teammates on Denmark's national team during their next games at the Euro 2020 tournament.

Eriksen collapsed on the field during a game between Denmark and Finland on June 12. He received CPR while still on the pitch, before being stretchered off the field and taken to hospital.
