You can get a 375-gram jar of President's Choice chocolate hazelnut spread for $5.50 at Loblaws.

That price breaks down to $1.46 per 100 grams.

So, you pay $0.79 more per 100 grams for the Loblaws house brand compared to the Costco house brand.

It costs $34.99 for a two-litre bottle at Costco, which works out to $1.74 per 100 millilitres.

President's Choice extra virgin olive oil costs $19.99 for a one-litre bottle.

That works out to $1.99 per 100 millilitres.
