According to the Government of B.C., this vaccine was produced by Pfizer and has been approved by Health Canada.

Another one by Moderna is pending approval and is ready to be distributed once it's been approved.

The first phase of doses will go to healthcare workers. Each person will require two doses one month apart.

The province will ensure that the COVID-19 vaccine is available to everyone that is recommended to get it.

It will be free for everyone in the province.
