"...just this one time?"

Drake has made an appeal to Canada to let another city be part of our nation for a day, but we're not too sure it's going to work out for him.

Over the weekend, Drizzy made his plea via an Instagram post.

"@canada can we make Buffalo a province for a day so my friends that can’t travel can come see me perform... just this one time," he captioned a carousel of pictures.

Canada has yet to respond to his query, but given that he's had success pleading with municipal government in the past, who knows what might happen?

A few years ago, the rapper called out the mayor of Pickering over the city's slow Wi-Fi.

"Can the mayor of Pickering set up some stronger wifi towers so @boi1da can be able to send me all his newest beats?? Trying to cook up. Thanks. -Drake," he wrote on his Instagram story.

Pickering's mayor responded in 2022.

“To be called out by a superstar like Drake over social media is not an everyday occurrence," said Dave Ryan. "However, it did shine a light on the digital divide for many of our residents and businesses in our hamlets and rural areas. I’m thrilled that Bell Canada answered the call and will be servicing 21,000 additional locations in Pickering over the next three years."
