Canadian actor Elliot Page is on the cover of TIME Magazine and it's his first interview since he disclosed in December 2020 that he's trans.

He shared his cover on social media and asked everyone to join him to "decry anti-trans legislation, hate and discrimination in all its forms."

In the cover story, Page talked about growing up in Halifax and wanting to be a boy along with understanding himself and how it's still a work in progress.

He said that he's "finally able to embrace being transgender" and fully become who he is.

Page also shared that he got top surgery, a procedure to remove breast tissue, but emphasized that being trans isn't all about surgery and it's not something everyone has to do.
