On Friday, November 13, a photo emerged on Twitter of the new BC Ferries' mask signs. The photo has gained a ton of traction already and, believe it or not, the reason has nothing to do with masks at all.

In fact, people have noticed a penis-like image within the stock cartoon and once you see it, you'll never be able to unsee it.

The tweet was originally shared with the caption "BC Ferries new mask signage sure is eye catching..." After that tweet got a whole lot of traction, the ferry company even commented on it.

What imagination...If there was anyone unaware about our mandatory requirement to wear masks...they know now.

If you take a close look at the image, you'll see that wear the elastic and the ear meet does look rather phallic.

Narcity has reached out to BC Ferries for comment and we will update this article when we receive a response.

Dozens of others have now shared the same image and, as you'd expect, the internet is really running with it.

"This is BC Ferries new mandatory mask sign they have 'erected' on our province's ferries... just can't unsee it," said one Twitter user

While we can assume the company didn't see it before, we're certain that they can see it now.

Don't forget to wear your masks, passengers!
