Here comes the sun! Canada’s spring weather forecast just dropped and the next three months are set to be bright, sunny and warmer than the last few years.

On March 20, The Weather Network shared an insight into the season ahead, predicting changing temperatures but conditions “to the warm side of normal.”

In fact, meteorologists expect the upcoming season to be “warmer than many of the springs in recent memory” across most of the country, with normal levels of rainfall too.

However, in B.C. and southern Yukon, conditions will “tip to the cool side of normal,” in addition to above-average levels of precipitation.

The new forecast was delivered on the first day of spring, where temperatures in some parts of the country remained as low as -39 C. Eek!
