Ontario Finance Ministerafter getting caught taking a vacation in the Caribbean island of St. Barts, while Quebec Liberal MNA was spotted holidaying in Barbados.
CAQ MNA Youri Chassin took an international trip to visit his husband in Peru and Saskatchewan Party MLA Joe Hargrave visited Palm Springs in California to finalize a property sale.
In Alberta, nine different officials have been found to have taken a trip abroad recently.
According to CTV News, this includes Municipal Affairs Minister Tracy Allard, Jason Kenney’s chief of staff James Huckabay and two education ministry press secretaries.
MLAs Pat Rehn, Jeremy Nixon, Tanya Fir and Jason Stephan have also taken trips outside of the country.
While Albertahas not directly disciplined those involved, he has since issued a new directive ordering staff to stay in Canada.
