It's official, Justin Trudeau and Joe Biden had their first phone call as leaders and here are all the details on what they talked about. Both of them discussed collaborating on vaccines and working closely together to stop COVID-19 by doing things like responding to variants and following expert advice. Before the chat, a federal minister said that Canada and the U.S. will also be working together to make sure travel restrictions are consistent between both countries. Trudeau mentioned the cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline and how it was a "disappointment" for Canada. He and Biden also talked about climate change, job creation, trade, economic growth along with promoting diversity and inclusion. Recently Trudeau said that he's aligned with Biden and he thinks Canadians are too.
