According to reports by CTV News, police say the man under arrest was taken to headquarters and was not treated for any injuries. Barrie Police have released their own statement on the incident, as well. "The Barrie Police Service is aware of a video that has been posted on social media and is currently looking into the circumstances that resulted in the arrest this afternoon on Dunlop Street in downtown Barrie," they wrote on Twitter on Thursday. "We will provide further comment once the details are confirmed." The investigation remains ongoing.
