Ontario's latest models suggest COVID-19 cases in Ontario have stopped slowing down and our summer is at risk.

Ontario could see 1,500 to 8,000 new COVID-19 cases a day depending on the "degree and timing of relaxing public health measures," according to the models.

And they predict the province's ability to control the spread of the variants of concern will ultimately determine whether we "return to normal" or head towards a third wave.

But if public health measures are followed, officials say, then Ontario's summer could still be free and "better than last year."
