The provincial government has just announced that outdoor fitness classes will be allowed to open in Ontario's grey zones. \nAs of Monday, March 29, 2021, at 12:01 a.m, outdoor fitness classes and personal training can resume operations. \nEditor's Choice: An Ontario Region Is Moving Back Into Lockdown Due To 'Concerning Trends'\n\nOnly 10 people are allowed per class and reservations need to be made beforehand. \nIndoor classes are still not permitted and music needs to be reduced to help stop loud talking and shouting. \nEveryone in the class must also keep at least three meters apart at all times. \nThe Ontario government states that the lieutenant governor still needs to sign off on the changes. \n\nWhat else is open in Ontario's grey zone? \nUnder Ontario's grey zone, retail stores, drive-ins and animal services can remain open. \nOn top of this, outdoor dining at restaurants has also been allowed to resume. \nThe Ford government also announced on Friday, that hair salons and other personal services are set to reopen in the grey zone by April 12. \n\nWhat regions are currently in the grey zone?\nOn Friday, the Ontario government announced that the City of Hamilton was moving back into lockdown due to "concerning trends." \nOther parts of the GTA, including Toronto and Peel, also remain in the grey zone. \nThunder Bay, Sudbury and Lambton are also regions facing these restrictions.
