Ford Is Begging Students Not To Party When They Go Back To University
He's freaked out by the amount of twenty-somethings getting COVID-19 in Ontario.
If you were looking for a frosh party this fall, you might want to think again. Premier Doug Ford put his foot down when asked about college and university parties during a press conference on Wednesday.
The Ontario premier stated that students should not be gathering in groups this fall.
No parties when you go back to college and university.
"I feel like a dad preaching to the kids and I don't want to be that way but it's critical," Ford stated.
He continued on to warn young people that although they may be resilient to the virus, those closest to them may not be.
"The other area that concerns me ... are the numbers jumping from the ages 20 to 39. Seniors listen more than younger people.
"I understand kids have to get out there and be with their friends, but guys just be careful when you go back to school."
