Winners, HomeSense & Marshalls Have Officially Opened Their Doors In Parts Of Ontario

Contributing Writer

Some Ontario residents are finally able to return to one of their favourite discount stores this week.

Winners, HomeSense and Marshalls are allowing people to now shop indoors at some of their locations in the green zones.

3 Regions in Ontario's green zone

Under the green zone, retail stores are allowed to operate. A company representative informed Narcity that hours have now been added to all of their open locations.

Some of these shops include the Marshalls at 945 Gardiners Rd. in Kingston and the HomeSense and Winners at 646 Gardiners Rd. locations in Kingston.

As well as the 390 North Front St. Winners shop in Belleville and the 190 Bell Blvd., Belleville HomeSense shop.

According to the company, safety protocols are limiting the number of customers allowed in a store at one time.

Shoppers must also wear a face mask in all stores and practice physical distancing.

While the company informed Narcity that they "look forward" to opening the rest of their Ontario locations, they do not have any set dates as of yet.

At the moment, the rest of the province stays under Ontario's stay-at-home order until at least February 16.

It's important to note that residents under this order should not be travelling or visiting people outside of their household at this time.
