This recent season of The Bachelorette may have come to a close, but one contestant's journey to find love isn't over yet.

Canada's Blake Moynes hasn't given up on finding his partner and hopes that 2021 will be the year he meets his person.

The 30-year-old from Hamilton, Ontario made a big impression on Bachelorette Tayshia Adams and captured the hearts of viewers with his fun-loving, adventurous attitude.

Sadly, his relationship with Tayshia came to a close when he was sent home during episode 10.

Blake chatted with Narcity about his experience on The Bachelorette, the world of dating, and all things Canadian.

Did being Canadian make the experience different for you?

After the first week, Blake was the only Canadian contestant on the show.

'I think, for Canadians, we see Americans very similar to us," he said.

"But for Americans that have never been to Canada, they see us like... using dog sleds."

While he didn't feel that being Canadian made things different for him, he laughed about a few moments where he got called out.

"I would say, 'eh' or hockey-type phrases," he recalled, mentioning that sometimes the group wouldn't understand certain words that he used.

There were also jokes about him "cutting down a palm tree looking for maple syrup."

"Little fun jabs but nothing serious," he said.

What would your hometown date have looked like?

Blake left the show before hometown dates, where contestants bring the bachelorette to meet their family and explore their neighbourhood.

The dates looked different this year due to the pandemic, but Blake chatted about what he would've done had Tayshia visited Ontario.

"I think I'd get her on the ice and do some hockey stuff," he said in true Canadian fashion.

"I'd probably try to get her to come up to my cottage... because that's kind of a home to me."

"We could get on the boats and do a lot of the outdoorsy things that I'm used to doing."

What dating advice would you offer people?

"Don't be reserved — completely just be yourself," he said.

He explained that he wanted to show his true character during The Bachelorette because it's important for any successful relationship.

"I think a lot of people go into dating and just try to be someone they're not or they're not very confident in themselves."

"They're going to find out who you are eventually or it's just not going to work, so you might as well show it all right off."

Blake plans to get back into dating in the New Year as well.

"2021 should hopefully find me my partner," he said.
