Ravi Kahlon, B.C.'s Minister of Jobs, Economic Recovery and Innovation hopped on Twitter to share a beautiful encounter his son had at school.

Kahlon began by sharing that he experienced a "proud dad moment" after his son witnessed a new kid at school all alone and took matters into his own little hands.
This is when the minister's son, along with a friend, approached the boy and offered to play during the lunch period.
When the day was over, his son got a letter from the new kid thanking him for the sweet and unexpected gesture.
"Sitting with me outside felt better then anything thank you so much I would like to ask you if I can start joining you guys outside," the new kid wrote on a piece of paper with a drawing of a colourful rainbow.
The tweet along with the photo of the letter was shared over 35,000 times and received over 450,000 likes.
