GoFundMe For Boulder Shooting Victims Has Raised Over $100k In Less Than 24 Hours

The money is going to the victims' families.

A Boulder, Colorado grocery store became the scene of a mass shooting Monday night after a 21-year-old man killed ten people, according to CNN.

Shortly following the incident, lifelong Boulder resident Ryan Van Duzer, in cooperation with the admin for the "bouldercolorado" Instagram account, started a GoFundMe to support the families of the victims.

In just 15 hours, nearly 2,500 people donated a total of over $120,000, nearly halfway to the fundraiser's $250,000 goal.

The creators of the GoFundMe say the money will be donated to families through the Colorado Healing Fund, which specializes in helping the local community.

CBS reports the victims of the attack have been identified as Officer Eric Talley, 51, Tralona Bartkowiak, 49, Suzanne Fountain, 59, Teri Leiker, 51, Kevin Mahoney, 61, Lynn Murray, 62, Rikki Olds, 25, Neven Stanisic, 23, Denny Stong, 20, and Jody Waters, 65.
