Yesterday, Ryan Reynolds posted a video gushing over his young The Adam Project co-star, Walker Scobell

In the video, Scobell proves that he's a real fan by reciting the entire opening monologue of Deadpool 2 — and he does it beautifully.

The role required significant research.  Ryan Reynolds

Reynolds was obviously impressed with Scobell's abilities as he posted an Instagram caption applauding the young boy.

"This innocent young boy plays 12 year old me in my upcoming Netflix film," wrote the Deadpool star. "No matter what, he’s WAY too young to know this monologue by heart."

Reynolds recognized in the caption that Scobell takes his job very seriously and that he has clearly done his research.

And, Deadpool himself wasn't the only one impressed — Actress Jennifer Garner commented on the video saying, "What have you done to him."

Reynolds even finished off the sweet caption with "#Precious" — we're getting some adorable father-son vibes.

The Adam Project is predicted to be released on Netflix at the end of 2021 and we can't wait to watch these talented co-stars in action together.
