Texas' favorite grocery store, H-E-B, is now going to be serving up more than just mouthwatering brisket and tasty tortillas.

The chain announced they will be administering COVID-19 vaccines as soon as they become available throughout Texas.

H-E-B will be partnering with the state and federal government in order to get the vaccine out to the general public as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Texas has seen rapidly increasing COVID-19 cases number in recent months, as the total state-wide number of cases reached over 1.2 million at the beginning of December.

But there is a reason to be optimistic about the future, as multiple vaccines have been created and are showing positive results.

However, the CDC is recommending that the first wave of vaccines be administered to healthcare personnel and residents at long-term care facilities.

H-E-B will be stepping up to the plate as soon as the vaccine becomes available to the general public.

This is not the first time the grocery store has helped Texans across the state this year, as they also helped tackle child hunger with superstar actress Kristin Bell.
