This Airline Offers 'Flights To Nowhere' For Singles Looking For Love This Christmas

A chance to fall in love "like a scene in a romantic movie." ✈️

This airline has a solution for singles looking for love amid travel restrictions this holiday season.

Eva Air is hosting a speed-dating "flight to nowhere," where passengers take off and land in the same destination, and get to know each other in the meantime.

"Because of Covid-19, EVA Air has been organizing 'faux travel' experiences to fulfill people's desire for travel," said Chiang Tsung-Wei, the speed dating service spokesperson, to CNN Travel.

According to CNN Travel, the seats are paired at random, but participants will still have the chance to mix and mingle in the aisles.

Eva Airways is also hosting some special holiday-themed flights to nowhere.

On Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Years Day, you can enjoy a special meal with potential suitors.

Participants on the New Year's Eve flight will enjoy a romantic dinner, while the New Year's Day flight will include brunch.

There are a few caveats, however. Participants must have a college degree and be residents of Taiwan to sign up for the program currently.

According to CNN, over 400 people applied for one of the coveted 40 seats on the plane.
