Several foods are being recalled in Canada and the cucumber & bread recalls keep expanding
Plus salad kits, granola bars and even black pepper. 🫢

The ongoing cucumber and bread recalls in Canada have been expanded.
Canadian shoppers, get ready to double-check your grocery hauls again! A new round of food recalls has hit Canada, and they continue to affect new brands and varieties of bread and cucumbers.
These product recalls, shared by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), highlight issues ranging from harmful bacteria like salmonella to unwanted foreign objects like insects, metal and plastic pieces.
If this feels a bit like déjà vu, you're not imagining it. The ongoing Sifto salt recall in Canada continues to create waves, now linked to multiple bread recalls and baked goods being flagged for containing metal shards.
Similarly, the cucumber recall saga isn't over — a few new brands and types have been added due to potential salmonella contamination, raising fresh concerns for salad lovers.
Between bread, produce and even spices, these recalls are affecting household brands like President's Choice, Co-op and Taylor Farms, and the CFIA is urging Canadians to toss or return these products if they've made it into their pantry.
Here's a closer look at nine of the latest recalls in Canada and the reasons and risks behind the advisories.
