The president is expected to propose the $1.8 trillion "American Families Plan," which would establish universal pre-school, free community college, and expanded access to child care.
ABC News reports the address will look unlike any others in history, with limited capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic along with heightened security as it comes just three months after Trump supporters stormed the building in an attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
The Joint Address will be held tonight at 9 p.m. EST and can be watched live at the official White House website, YouTube page, and Twitter account.
