If you're looking for free COVID-19 testing sites in Jacksonville, three new locations are coming to the city this week.

The federally run sites will only be open from this Wednesday, July 8 through July 15, in Arlington, as well as the Northside and Westside, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Patients must make appointments in advance to be tested.

The city’s largest testing site, Lot J at TIAA Bank Field, will remain open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. but has been plagued by hours-long lines over the last two weeks.

The new locations can be found at First Coast Senior High School at 590 Duval Station Rd., Frank H. Peterson Academies at 7450 Wilson Blvd., and Regency Square Mall – SEARS at 9501 Arlington Expressway.

The drive-thru sites are open to anyone ages 5 and above regardless of symptoms and are free for all. Patients should bring a photo ID and pen, as well as have car windows that can roll completely up and down.

News4Jax reported that on Sunday, Lot J saw numbers that included 542 active virus swab tests and 85 antibody tests as hundreds of cars still waited in line as it shuttered for the day.
