Alberta RCMP's latest update on the Jasper bus accident includes more information about the fatalities.

On July 18, a bus exploring the Athabasca Glacier rolled over, killing three people and injuring several others.

Jasper RCMP revealed in a news release that the three victims include two women, from Canoe Narrows, Saskatchewan and Edmonton respectively, and a man from India. Their names will not be released.

Police also stated that out of the several individuals who were "critically injured," four are still in a critical but stable condition.

The authorities still haven't determined a cause of the rollover but collision experts don't believe a rock slide was to blame.

Highway 93 is open to the public at this time but removing the bus from the site may take several days.
