Kaitlyn Bristowe Reveals That Ex Shawn Booth Ignored Her Text After His Dog Died

He replied to Bristowe's cleaning lady but not her!

Drama alert! Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth called off their engagement nearly two years ago, but it seems there are still negative feelings swirling around. The Canadian gal believes her ex still harbours anger towards her and admitted that he ignored her condolence text after his dog died.

Bristowe recently joined Becca Tilley and Tanya Rad on their podcast Scrubbing In where she opened up about the situation around her former fiancé.

"I’m not trying to speak for him and I don’t know, but I truly think he just will never understand me or respect certain decisions and I think he’s just gonna hold onto anger with me," the 35-year-old shared.

She added that at the time she didn't realize how miserable she was feeling and "how out of touch" she was while she was with him.

However, she said that she doesn't want to blame Booth for her feelings of shame from being on The Bachelorette.

US Weekly claims that now both Bristowe and Booth have homes in Nashville, Tennessee but have yet to run into each other.

The former couple got together in 2015 and called off their engagement in November 2018.

That came just months before Bristowe met her current boyfriend, Jason Tartick, who she now shares a home and two golden retriever pups with.

In April, Booth shared on Instagram that his dog Tucker died.

Soon after, the Canadian entrepreneur left a comment writing, "I’m so sorry. This one hurts. You gave him a great life."

However, it seems Bristowe also reached out to her ex over text to share her condolences for the dog she knew and loved, but that text apparently didn't get a reply.

"Obviously, I was just devastated for him. [...] I thought for sure he would’ve reached out to me to say either ‘Hey we’re putting him down,’ or ‘Hey I didn’t want you to have to find this out through Instagram’ or something, but I can’t hold that against him," Bristowe said on the podcast.

"I did reach out to him and said like ‘I am so sorry, if you need to talk. I’m devastated. I can’t imagine how you feel.’ And nothing," she added.

"He didn’t write me back. He wrote my cleaning lady back saying ‘Thank you, he loved spending time with you’ and I’m like, 'Ah! Cleaning lady? Come on now!'"

Shrug it off, girl. Bristowe will be competing on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars and might also have an engagement from Tartick to look forward to in the future.
