Governor Gavin Newsom went live on Wednesday to give a California COVID-19 update.
He announced that not wearing a mask will probably be more enforced by others rather than by law enforcement.

Newsom also urged people to wear a face covering, practice social distancing, and wash your hands.
In high-risk situations, such as indoor spaces, Californians are required to wear these coverings.
According to the California Department of Public Health, the state has 222,917 positive cases as of June 29, 2020.
