With this Lotto Max draw, there's a $50 million jackpot up for grabs and two Maxmillions available to be won.

Those Maxmillions prizes are each worth $1 million so even if you don't score the jackpot you could still get a lot of money.

What are the Lotto Max winning numbers for Tuesday, April 2?

The Lotto Max winning numbers for Tuesday, April 2 are 11, 23, 36, 38, 42, 43 and 49, with 27 as the bonus.

If you also get Encore on your tickets, that winning number is 8203518.

You also have a chance to win the $1 million prizes up for grabs in Tuesday's draw. The Maxmillions winning numbers are:

  • 2, 7, 14, 28, 33, 48 and 49
  • 11, 22, 33, 38, 42, 49 and 50

There is no winner of the $50 million jackpot or the Maxmillions prizes.

But that means Lotto Max's next jackpot on Friday, April 5 will be a massive $55 million.

Also, the draw will offer four Maxmillions worth $1 million each!

How do you play Lotto Max?

Lotto Max draws happen twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays in Canada.

You get three sets of numbers for every $5 play that you buy and each set has seven numbers from 1 to 50.

Here's what matching numbers could win you:

  • 7/7 — jackpot
  • 6/7 plus bonus — approximately $130,000
  • 6/7 — approximately $4,000
  • 5/7 plus bonus — approximately $1,000
  • 5/7 — approximately $100
  • 4/7 plus bonus — approximately $50
  • 4/7 — $20
  • 3/7 plus bonus — $20
  • 3/7 — free play

The Lotto Max jackpot starts at $10 million and can go up to $70 million.

Once the jackpot reaches $50 million, there are also Maxmillions available to be won — additional $1 million prizes.

All three sets of numbers you get with a $5 play are eligible for both the main draw and the Maxmillions draw when the jackpot reaches $50 million.

Tickets are sold until 10:30 p.m. ET on Tuesdays and Fridays which is when the Lotto Max winning numbers are drawn.
