Starting Friday, July 31, Banff will be making masks mandatory in public indoor spaces as well as along Banff Avenue, the town's main street.

This new bylaw was voted on unanimously and passed by town council on Monday, July 27. 

Just having the mask on won’t be good enough as it will need to cover your mouth, chin, and nose.

Anyone who doesn't follow the new rules could be fined $150.
