All of your waiting has paid off. McDonald's Canada Summer Drink Days 2020 starts on June 29 and you can get so many beverages for just $1 or $2. It's time to get excited!

The fast-food restaurant has been teasing this year's return of Summer Drink Days on Twitter for weeks now.

Due to the pandemic, it has taken a bit longer to get everything back up and running safely while meeting Canadians' hunger for McD's.

However, the wait is almost over!

Starting on June 29, you can get small or medium iced coffees and any size fountain drink for $1.

You can also buy a small or medium Minute Maid slushie, a small real fruit smoothie or a small iced frappé for $2.

Though it's important to remember that both of these deals are before tax. So, you might need more than just a loonie or a toonie.

This year, Summer Drink Days will be available with Mobile Order & Pay through their app for curbside or drive-thru pick up.

If a location has a drive-thru, you can pull up and get this deal there.

The $1 and $2 beverages are also available for takeout at restaurants where that service is offered.

Happy sipping!

McDonald's Canada told Narcity that the love for Summer Drink Days is widespread across the country and has been for more than a decade now.

The year 2019 marked 10 years of the fast-food chain's summer beverage promotion in Canada.

In May, the restaurant announced that it would be gradually reintroducing takeout services with enhanced safety measures starting at 30 locations.

Those spots have been testing out those new measures.

More locations are set to follow suit and offer takeout services again.

After the pandemic started in Canada, McDonald's moved to a temporary limited menu that made 10 items unavailable to maintain distance in kitchens.

However, that doesn't affect Summer Drink Days.
