An Alberta Woman In Her 30s Has Died From COVID-19 & The Most People Ever Are Hospitalized
She's the second person in their 30s to pass away in the province.
While there was no live conference on Wednesday, October 14, the province did release updated data online with detailed.
According to the Calgary Herald, the news also surfaced that an Edmonton woman in her 30s has passed away as a result of COVID-19. This follows the passing of one individual in their 20s and another in their 30s.
According to the Government of Alberta, this pushes the province's death toll to 287.
Hospitalizations in Alberta
In addition, the province has reached the highest number of hospitalizations to date.
Among the 100 people in the hospital, 14 of them are in intensive care.
As of now, Alberta has had 21,199 cases in total and 2,689 remain active.
The majority of the province's cases are currently in Edmonton, with the city alone having 1,235.
So far, 1,571,176 tests have been completed.
