This Week Marks 6 Months Since Alberta’s First Case Of COVID-19 Was Recorded
The province has over 1,400 active cases right now.
Dr. Hinshaw addressed the public in an Alberta COVID-19 update on Thursday, September 3.
During the question period, a member of the media asked about the top doctor's opinion on"pandemic fatigue" given that we will soon hit the six-month mark since Alberta's first COVID-19 case was recorded.

Dr. Hinshaw reported Alberta's first presumptive case
Hinshaw empathized with Albertans, saying that because "this is something that we can’t see the end of," she understands why people would be feeling frustrated.
“I sympathize. I too wish that it would just go away," she said. "Pandemic fatigue is a very real thing."
As of publication, the province has 1,415 active cases with 46 individuals hospitalized.
