It's been months since the pandemic started, but it can be hard to keep track of how many COVID-19 cases are in B.C. unless you're following Dr. Bonnie Henry every day.

The province reached a new milestone on Wednesday, July 8 when they announced that there were 18 new cases.

Total cases in B.C.

So far 2,660 people who tested positive have since recovered in the province and there are 162 active cases.

The province has successfully flattened the curve but continues to see new cases every day.

B.C. is still under a State of Emergency to respond to the pandemic and unlike other provinces, it has no mandatory mask rules.
